Feature and Follow #14

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

This Week's Question:

Are there any book to movie adaptations where you think the movie is better than the book?

Hunger Games was amazing. The Movie much better than book.
Harry Potter Movie so much good because the book series was vey childish for me.Interview with a Vampire Come on,you can see the only reason was Brad Pitt. The Lord of the Rings. Honestly I didn't read all book of this cuz I was bored.Movie is the better.
Queen of the Damned Movie was Spectacular.

  1. Interesting list. I haven't read HG or Harry Potter, I need to so I can compare the two. :) For me its the Bourne movies- tried to read those once, nope no can do. Boring... thought the movies were pretty good though.

  3. Hopping through. I think the first two Harry Potter books are childish, although I love them. The books are quite grown up as they go on though.

  5. Wow! Lots of picks there! With the Harry Potter movies, I found myself sort of caught between loving and not loving. The first two I thought were great! Only left out a few bits. The following ones began leaving out more and more and I was upset. My friend and I were especially outraged at movie 4 when Dobby didn't even make his appearance and Neville took over his role. Nothing wrong with Neville, but come on! And I think in movie 2, they left out Nearly Headless Nick's deathday party! And really, the ghosts were gone after movie 2 it seemed and I was upset about that too.

But still loved the movies and their shortened version of the books!

  6. The LOTR is amazing!!! But I haven't read the films. I have to say that I loved HP books way more than movies, but still loved the movies. How could I forget Interview with the Vampire- such an amazing movie and I enjoyed it more than the book. My F&FF.

  7. First person I saw who put Harry Potter on the list! But definitely not the case for The Hunger Games, I think i'm rather indifferent about the book and movie. But I did love Harry Potter through both avenues and I do think you're right about the childish part.
